Hi, and welcome to the MadSci network! Your question shows that you are very
curious and intelligent. Many people have wondered about the salaries, working
situations and careers of others.

There is good news for you. The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics has a
wonderful website that describes a great many things about all types of careers,
including salary rates, the future of the profession, the training and education
for each career, and much more. Go to the website at:
 http://www.stats.bls.gov/oco/home.htm

You will see a list of general job categories on the left side of the page.
Click on the one that says "Professional" careers. You will get a long list of
all kinds of professional careers, including scientific careers. It is a lot of
fun to read about professional careers in science. The other job categories on
the page above will introduce you to other kinds of careers.

Share this website with your friends, because it is never too early to start
investigating what you will do in your future career and future life.
