Hello anonymous poster,

I went to Google and typed "2,4 D herbicide". There were 114 000 hits! First I looked at this site for some general information. The third hit on my list looked promising, as it gave the degradation pathway of 2,4 D. Sure enough, I clicked on the links in the pathway map and found myself at this page, which has both the formula and structure of 2,4 D.

The short answer to your question is C8H6Cl2O3. The long answer is that with a good search engine and the right query, the Web is a great information source!
