If you are looking for an experiment in waste treatment that students
could do as a laboratory exercise, I do not think that I can help you. I
do not know of a source of this type. However if you are looking for
procedures for waste treatment for waste disposal or would like to modify
a procedure for a laboratory exercise, then I suggest that you check
the "Flinn Chemical & Biological Catalog - Reference Manual 2002". There
is a section in the rear entitled "17 Steps to Minimize Chemical Waste"
You might find what you want there.

You should be able to get a copy of the catalog, OR the information may be
available on their web site.
