My daughter (4th grader) and I are conducting an experimen based on a
science fair idea that we saw on a web site related to this one.We are testing
different stimuli to observe the mouse's behavior. Our observations have been in
contradiction to our hypothesis. We used a variety of stimuli including cat
hair. Our test subject showed curiosity, not fear. Does anyone in the science
community know of any research done on the topic of fear of cats in
mice-instinct or learned behavior? We're considering a proposal for further
study.
