MadSci Network: General Biology |
I am wondering if there are people who, when they fall asleep, enter into a reality of their own. They have their own set of roles such as a parent or teacher, but in the real world they are not at all these people. Unlike regular dreams, these are indistinguishable from reality or close to being indistinguishable. They might even prefer to live in their dreams instead of reality. Is there such a thing, and if so, what is the technical name of it?
