I've seen one hanging, apparently only from his "toes", from our garage shingles
in order to reach a suet block hanging underneath the garage gable overhang.
S/he was at full extension, with the entire weight, plus that of the suet, being
supported by the back claws. How can they support so much with such a limited
grip?
