Hi Spyroe,
in classical physics light is a electromagnetic wave, a solution of Maxwell's equations. The electric field and the magnetic field are perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the direction of propagation. The light may be polarized (linearly or circularily), and any electromagnetic wave can be composed of polarized waves. So one can imagine a classical photon as polarised electromagnetic waves. To see how to visualize polarised waves follow this link.
I hope I could help you,
greetings,
Michael.
