Dear Sir,
I have a question about elevation.Knowing that Denver elevation is already
5,280ft.above sea level gave or take a few feets, and Charleston,South Carolina
is at sea level.
My question is,if you could go down to Colorado Spring and move Pikes Peak
which is 14,110 ft.above sea level at the top and cut it off at the base of the
mountain and move it to Charleston,S.C. which is at sea level, what would the
elevation be, at the top of Pikes Peak in Charleston?
Same mountain but minus the 5,280ft.you start out with when you leave Denver
and put it in Charleston.
I'am saying the elevation of Pikes Peak is 14,110 ft minus 5,280 ft which is
Denver's elevation.I say it should come out to be 8,830 ft. at the top of Pikes
Peak in Charleston.
Right or wrong? If wrong tell me why or how,and if I'am right please tell me.
Thanks for your time on this question.
                         Thanks Again,
                                Cecil Ard
