Hi Josua,

A zedonk is a cross between a zebra and a donkey. It has a coat which combines the phenotypic characteristics of both parents, with stripes mostly confined to the legs. Assuming that coat colour is controlled by a single locus then this represents a case of codominance and a cross between two zedonks would give offspring phenotypical ratios of 1:2:1. However, it's impossible to perform this cross since zedonks, like most hybrid animals, are infertile.

Regards,

Rob Cruickshank
