The answer to your questions that Can an A+ mother and an A+ father have 7 O- kids and 1 A+ kid? Are they my parents and siblings? is YES. A heterozygous father and a heterozygous mother for the blood type A are likely to give birth to kids with a blood type of A and or O. The chances for a child to have type A blood group are three times more than that of blood type O. But remember that "CHANCE HAS NO MEMORY". Eventhough there are equal chances for a baby born to be either a girl or a boy, in a family of 6 kids, there are instances that all the 6 being girls or boys. It is NOT surprising and it is quite possible that your parents with blood type A have one kid with A and seven kids with O type blood. (Please search our archives for more information about how blood type is inherited).
