I am working with my son to create a potato battery, and have used the
suggestions in your site to create one. However, when hooking up several
batteries in serial to increase voltage, we seem get 'diminishing returns'.
Even though 6 potatoes individually produce about .5V, attached in serial, we
can't get the volrage above 2V? Any thoughts on what we might be doing wrong?
