I'm sort of embarrased to be asking this as a 20 year old: My flatmate told
me that metals arn't made of cells and that only organic things are made
of cells. I was under the impression that rocks have a cellular structure.
I suppose my questions are, "What kind's of things do not have cells?"
and, "Is having cells the characteristic that define something as living?"
