Hi Anonymous,

Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances we know, this because it
affects your whole body.
But there are also other things you can get addicted to, gambling for
instance.
So this means you don't have to take a substance to get addicted!
Some people are addicted to Love, some are addicted to sports, because it
make's them feel 'good'.
This kind of addiction can be pathological (= BAD), and it's always the
case when it is 'to much'.
An addiction is person dependent, for example: one person can easily give
up smoking, but not gambling, and the other can be really addicted to Web-
surfing, but can easily give up drinking.
So if you think you surf to much on the internet, try to restrict yourself
to 1 or 2 ours a day. I you don't hold yourself to your own rules ...you
have a problem.

Greetings
Dave
