Subject: What are the primary health concerns when separating conjoined twins?

I am doing a project on conjoined twins-how it occurs, the treatments, etc.-and 
I have been having trouble finding out how doctors approach conjoined twins and 
what steps they take in determining whether the twins can be separated or not, 
as well as the key issues of separating twins. I would appreciate any 
information concerning such surgical procedures. Thank you.
