I asked my dad to get me one for my birthday, he said no way they are hidiously expensive. I said I'd just have to make one then. He laughed. In conclusion I must prove that I can do it, my internet reserch has found lots of complicated industrial equipment that, yeah I can't make, there has got to be a simpler way to go about it. Whats the minimum I need to have? A vacuum pump connected to two containers with a condensing tube between them, preferably with some kinde of gauge to determine the strength of the vaccum, the hardest part of that has got to be the vacuum right... so how do I produce a vacuum considering anything I use has to be either houshold or made by me from scratch (can I use a vacuum cleaner? I only want it to be slightly functional to prove I could do it, I can try and improve on it later if I really feel the need to)?
