 We took a raw egg and placed it in vinegar, once the shell disolved the egg was 
rinsed and placed in distilled water, it expanded. Two days later we placed it 
in a concentrated sugar solution. The egg shrunk, finally two days later we 
placed it back into a distilled water solution. How and why does this happen?
