I am researching a diet based upon the paleolithic era of ancestors. I have attempted to make a pemmican product (dried beef, pecans, walnuts, beef fat) that would provide proper nutrition in one meal item. I would like to know a combination of basic ingredients that would provide essential nutrition without the addition of any other food item(s) or enhancement by vitamin fortification. I understand that Pemmican is considered a "perfect" food. Therefore, is the combination (of ingredients) included in pemmican a balanced nutritional diet? Is it possible for a person to live on this one food item?
