Dear Lalit Thank you for your question. I'm not quite sure if I understand it correcty though. Even if someone waves a wet towel very rapidly though the air, I've never noticed a cracking sound, have you? The top of the towel just isn't fast enough. If the towel hits something the situation is different but the "bang" is mainly caused by the body which was hit, rather than by the towel itself.
