Dear MAD SCientists, I have an important question (or two) and I am hoping you can help. Quite simply, my story takes place on earth in 2665, at which point someone from our very near future is rescued in deep space. With time dilation, and or relativity, how far away would that person be, and or how fast would he have to travel to still be alive in 2665 assuming that at that point we develope wormhole instantaneous travel (bear in mind, this is fiction, but I wanted to be as accurate about the science as possible). I can always make the person in stasis or cryohybernation, but I wanted to explain his trip via relativity. Is what I am suggesting possible (assuming the future stuff like portals and space folding is within the fiction aspect)? Any answer on this would be most helpful. Also, what is the most likely type of craft within the next 100 years to accomplish this? Fision, Fusion, Anti-Matter? Magnetics? Solar Winds? Raelianpower? (kidding) Your assistance is much apreciated, and I thank you for your valuable time and consideration on my behalf Gratefully, Dave diamondave@maeritech.net
