Hi, Chloe.

In truth, H. habilis is not a well-defined species.  Anthropologists 
can't seem to agree what specimens fit in that species, whether the 
species should be in the genus Homo or Australopithecus, or whether the 
species should even exist, because of the variance between the "accepted" 
specimens.

Of course, scientists hope these issues can be cleared up through 
continued research.
