Hi Tally:

Camels are adapted to eat desert plants, which are usually very tough, shrubby little things that are not particularly easily eaten. A quick web search finds several sites about how tough their mouths are. So, it's not inconcievable that a camel might try chewing on something made of fibreglass, though it presumably wouldn't get much in the way of nutrition out of it.

Fibreglass is basically very fine strands of glass, held together by some kind of epoxy or resin. Most definitely not the kind of thing anyone (or anything) should be eating!

I hope that helps!
