For a science project, I am trying to calculate the force of wind on skyscrapers. I have been looking in books, internet, everywhere but I cannot come up with an answer. I believe that there is a formula to calculate wind load but I haven't found it yet. However, I do have a vague idea and I'm wondering if it would be valid...if I build a model wind tunnel and record how far a model skyscraper moves (maybe how far the skyscraper moves to a set time ratio or how far the skyscraper moves to a stopping point ratio?) , would it give me substantial enough data to say that it is my own calculation of wind load? Thank you very much for your time.
