I'm a plasma chemistry experimentalist not a theoretician, but since there
are supposed to be eleven dimensions, why not?  I'll toss you another
canidate that I _am_ familiar with.  Try Clusters/Nano-structures.  I've
been specifically working with boron versions, and you might as well throw
out the rulebook on that case.   I'm confident that others are finding the
same results with other species.  If you find out the official word on
Liquid Crystal, let me know.  At first blush, it certainly seems to be a
defensible argument.
