Young minds are naturally inquisitive and are constantly asking questions. Science answers many of these questions in a fun way and therefore should be taught to some degree in primary schools. The only thing I can think of on the negative side of the argument is the detrimental affect poorly taught science can have on children. As a science teacher I am all too familiar with the turn-off badly taught'boring' and dry science can be. In conclusion, yes science should be taught to young minds but only by experts who really like to have fun! hope this helps, Sean Hunt
