Young minds are naturally inquisitive and are constantly asking 
questions. Science answers many of these questions in a fun way and 
therefore should be taught to some degree in primary schools.
The only thing I can think of on the negative side of the argument is the 
detrimental affect poorly taught science can have on children. As a 
science teacher I am all too familiar with the turn-off badly 
taught'boring' and dry science can be. In conclusion, yes science should 
be taught to young minds but only by experts who really like to have fun!
