Message:

When our sun becomes a red giant, what will happen to Earth when the sun
engulfs it? Will Earth just incinerate or will its atoms integrate with the
red giant in a way that the Earth be a part of that sun’s thermo nuclear
reaction?

The original question was: what will happen to the atoms of a person who dies
on Earth today. Will our atoms still be the same atoms, or will they fuse into
different atoms some day, when the sun goes nova or during its life as a red
giant?

Thank you in advance
Tally
