Very interesting but extremely tough question from "No name entered."  I 
am not aware of any research supporting a relationship between sexual 
thoughts and increases in gonadotropins or sex steroids, which would be 
the biological route needed to be traversed to give such an increase in 
spermatogenesis.  I have reviewed several of my texts in the reproductive 
area as well as searching the web for a reviewed journal source and have 
found nothing.  There might be anecdotal evidence but you should not rely 
on that.  This does not mean that there is no relationship but only that 
the answer to your question is probably not known at this time.  This type 
of research would be rather difficult to perform given the “slipperiness” 
of the variables that would need to be controlled.
