I'm a 23 year old undergrad business student at U. Texas. My question is
twofold:
1. What traits in a mother produces naturally athletic children?
2. What can I do to manipulate my own composition to ensure superior offspring?
I was researching on what genes to look for in a female to produce the most
athletic offspring. (Please humor me, if my science knowlegde seems
limited...because it is!)
My basic goal is to pick a women to breed with, so that the final result is
genetically athletic children.
I know that a human baby gets mitochondria from the mother. This mitochondria
seems to have a strong correlation with energy production in the body. I also
am curious if there is a way to add ACTN-3 into my DNA, so that I can gain fast
twitch muscles and increase my own muscle mass, (hence, passing it on to my
offspring)?
Are there physical traits that I should look for in a woman to mate? (i.e. blue
eyes, superior muscle structure, good posture, height, ect.)
Thank you for taking the time to read these questions. I look forward to your
response.
