Since liver cells are quiescent or stable cells, how long would it take for a
human liver to completely regenerate itself? That is, if we could
hypothetically tag each liver cell (parenchymal and hepatocyte) with a
radioisotope, how long before we see no more radiological activity? Or how
long until we are dealing with a completely different liver, cellularly
speaking?
