Hello Mike,

There are bunch of arteries, veins and nerves underneath the tongue.

Lingual nerve is on the mesial side of the body of the mandible. Not 
exactly the same place where you are asking but somewhere around that area.

It would not be adviseable to pierce that area. I strongly recommend not piercing this area.

I m not giving you the anatomy of the toungue since I think you will not be 
intrested.
