In '2001: A Space Odyssey,' an astronaut is trapped in his space pod because
HAL won't open the pod bay doors. He holds his breath, blows out the pod door,
enters the bay, closes the door, and finally fills his lungs with air. Wouldn't
his lungs explode immediately in the vaccum of space?
