What would happen if a tight stretched nanotube collided with a nickel iron
meteorite?
If you had a carbon nanotube tightly stretched between two huge asteroids (fixed
in space) and a third small nickel iron (oxide?) of about 3 meters in diameter
travelling at the nanotube at 4500km/hr? Would the nanotube act as a molecular
wire and simply slice completely through it or would the meteor break the
nanotube? How would meteor size affect the collision? How would the speed of the
meteor affect it?
