Hello!

Your questions sent me scurrying along the internet lines to find experts
on the matter. I sent your question to university professors in animal
behaviour, to gamekeepers and to animal clubs in North America, Europe
and Africa!

Moles aren't rodents; they are part of the group Insectivora, along with
shrews and hedgehogs. They DO sneeze, or at least they go through the
motions of clearing their nose in a sneezing manner, when there is
something in their windpipes.

On the side, rats, mice and other rodents sneeze too.

Hope this gives you some piece of mind!

Gesundheit!

Evelyne
