Since the universe ia expanding, it isn't a tremendous leap to postulate that
matter (atoms, protons, neutrons) are also expanding. If this were in fact true,
and this would be hard to measure, then what did matter look like 15 billion
years ago?  Were the parts of atoms smaller? If they were then at what treshold
would we cease to have the elecromagnetic, strong and weak nuclear forces?
