Me and my friend were shoting clay birds(using 7.5 shot) one day in a field about 225 yards long. I wanted to know if those shotgun pellets could do any damage at that distance. I already looked up the terminal velocity of a pellet, and it said it would be 51 mph, but what if you weren't shooting straight up into the air? Would it the terminal velocity still be 51 mph or would it slow down by a lot?
