I have a friend whose mom is 100% korean and dad is caucasian of mixed european ancestry. Koreans are a VERY homogenous population and all koreans exhibit dark brown eyes as a phenotyoe. In my friend's mom's background-there are no other ethnicities in her family--pure Korean for many, many, many generations. My friend has blue eyes-which are recessive-her dad has blue eyes-But shouldn't mom's dark eyes be the exhibited phenotype?
Re: How is it possible for my half-Korean friend to have blue eyes?
