These questions come from a very bright 4th grade student of mine. He wants
his answers on the most essential level. I have searched this site for
answers earlier this spring, as well as provided a variety of materials.
Those on his reading level describe the info in too general terms--do not
really specify HOW or WHAT is really involved in radio waves and their being
received (in terms of charges etc). The high school material I found was too
difficult for him. This boy has a deep mind and wants the answers to clearly
describe the essentials of how radio waves work and how they are received in
language he can understand. He is trying to truly understand radio waves and
how they function. He already built a radio, but continues to question.
