The Earth orbits the sun at approx 18.5 miles per second. When the speed of
light is measured pointing in either direction along this path, the speed
remains constant at approx 186,000 miles per second. Since the speed of light
is a constant, but the energy of the earths movement must go somewhere, does
the movement of the Earth through space impart a red shift/blue shift on the
light? Has this experiment been done? Thanks!
