Subject: what happens when protein changes & contains only 1479 amino acids

Cystic fibrosis is caused by a change in a single protein in the body. In most 
people this protein has 1480 amino acids, but in people with cystic fibrosis, 
it contains only 1479 amino acids. What happens during this condition? Thank
