You've asked a very short question, and hence I'll keep my answer short.
Computers are a tool used to perform tasks. Like pretty well any tool, they
can be a blessing or a curse depending on the task they are applied to. For
example, you'd probably feel blessed if computers allowed your doctor to
stay in better contact with his/her peers, learn more medical knowledge than
they would do otherwise, and save your life. On the other hand,
you'd probably feel cursed if organised computer hackers broke into your
bank's computer, and stole all your money. Probably the best way to answer
this question is to ask you to imagine the modern world without any
computers. Do you see such a world as a better or a worse place?
Personally, as a computer scientist, I'd be out of a job if there were no
computers, but I'll let you come to your own decision.
