as a student of history, i have often read of the colonial americans importing
rum from jamaica. then it dawned on me, why didn't they make alcohol from maple
sap? i assume alcohol can be made from any plant that contains sugar, so can it-
-or has it ever been made from maple sap?
it sounds like a silly question, but i've never been able to find an answer for
it. perhaps one of your experts can help... any thoughts?
