I have been trying to find the answer to this question. My mom and I have 
tried this at home. Height does seem to affect the size of the splatter. We 
just do not know the science reason why? We dropped one cup of water from 
2,4,6,8, feet it seems the higher we go the bigger the splatter. Why is this 
that way? What is the science reason?
