Subject: How does an iceberg start scouring & what happens to the iceberg ?

The Neptune Class of second graders read the book Under the Ice.  They 
looked at two websites about icebergs to learn more information. But, they 
still have some questions, especially about ice scours.  They wonder 
when the icebergs start scouring, how they start scouring, and what 
happens to the bottom of the iceberg.  They also wonder how tall icebergs 
can be.  Thank you very much for considering our questions. We look
