(Part of presentation to support a common "evolutionary" development of eukaryotes) I've looked and looked for hours now and found many interesting points on "endosymbiosis" and hox genes but I can't seem to find any % for common genes in animals and plants. There must be similar genes for chromatin and polymerase in the nuclear DNA! I heard once that 40% of eukaryotes genes are conserved from their Pre-Cambrian ancestors and it seems possible but I can't find anything...help please.....
Re: ? the average % of genes that plants share with animals?
