Subject: Olive oil before alcohol to prevent drunkeness or hangover.

My friend told me his father told him to drink a shot of olive oil before 
drinking to prevent getting really drunk or being hungover. He said it prevents 
the cells in your stomach from absorbing the alcohol thus preventing getting 
drunk or hungover. Is this true? Would it work if you have a drink or two and 
then drink the olive oil and then continued drinking?
