in chemistry we have defined a voltage as a measure of the difference in 
electron attracting ability of substances when talking about electrochemical 
cells but in physics we say it is a difference in potential energy This makkes 
sense). do they mean the same? and why exactly does one substance have a 
stronger attraction for elctrons than another (in redox reactions). is it 
simply electronegaivity or something to do with potential energy of electons?
