I read in one of your archieves that spacecraft can be damaged if they 
encounter ultrahigh energy cosmic rays, however could we shield such a 
spaceship? Is it at least theoretically possible to shield a spacecraft from 
ultrahigh energy cosmic ray impact by making the walls very dense and thick, or 
use some new types of material that can heal themselves, or any other means?
