MadSci Network: Botany |
I used food coloring and 1 cup of sugar in about a cup of water. The flowers I used were carnations. The flower with the sugar in the water did not change colors. I think it is because the sugar plugged it up and it has a more dense molecular structure than the plain water but can't find anything to tell me if I am right or why it didn't change green. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
