What is a simple Definition of Lorentz Contraction, or Lorentz force?
The reason I ask is because
Albert Einstein was once photographed in front of an equasion written L = mc2 instead of E = mc2
I was wondering what the value L could stand for IF it was not a mistake.
I thought it might mean Lorentz. What are other Physics
constants represented by the letter 'L'? (What could L stand for in a Physics equasion?)
A form of energy? A quality or quantity of spacetime? A certain type of field?
If a physicist sees the term L in an equasion, what does it mean to him?

Many Thanks! Best Wishes and God Bless!!!
