where are you taking your temperature measurements from? If you take it 
from your skin while exercising it may give a lower than expected reading 
due to the perspiration evaporating. Try your experiment again using a 
better measurement site. eg underarm or mouth.

Ther is no reason that core body temperature should drop during exercise
