I was wondering, what affect does a direct injection of ATP into a vein do?
Since ATP is permeable through a cells membrane, it should have an effect, but
of what I am uncertain . I was also wondering if it is possible to keep tissue
alive by shutting off its ATP production (both glycolysis and krebs cycle) using
something such as 3-bromopyruvate (3-BrPA)and then to provide ATP through a
constant perfusion or another method. Any help would be very appreciated as I am
on a time consraint. Thanks,
Nicodemus
